Fails WP:GNG. The principality of Bentheim and Steinfurt was mediatized in 1806. His and his son's war service is not notable enough for an article. DrKay (talk) 06:52, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- Note: This discussion has been included in the deletion sorting lists for the following topics: Military, Royalty and nobility, and Germany. DrKay (talk) 06:52, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- Keep A head of a defunct house is still notable. This was on the "Did you know" part on the main page. And he studied at Corps Borussia Bonn and became a captain which approves notability for WP:GNG. Azarctic (talk) 02:09, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
- Please link where those are GNG criteria. JoelleJay (talk) 16:19, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- Note to closer: There is no link from any 'Did you know' archive to this article, nor any notice on the talk page that the article was once on 'Did you know'. The article had existed for less than 24 hours prior to nomination for deletion. DrKay (talk) 15:50, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
- Delete. No evidence of significant IRS coverage. Article is cobbled together from passing mentions and primary sources. JoelleJay (talk) 19:04, 29 March 2024 (UTC)

- Comment: Regarding my vote, I meant it in the sense that I agreed with what people like DrKay and JoelleJay said about the article failing WP:GNG and not having secondary sources.98.228.137.44 (talk) 22:07, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
- Delete - "prince" of a defunct, non-sovereign county is not automatically notable. I don't see significant coverage, and although I am fairly lax in my own standards, he does not pass the grade even in my book. For the record, being a captain does not pass WP:MIL.
