No real notability - although assertions are made, the refs are just passing mentions, and I can't find anything better. Two earlier, less well developed versions of the article have been speedy deleted. Although not directly relevant, there are likely issues of WP:INHERITED and WP:COI here too. —SMALLJIM 09:56, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete I actually speedy-deleted this, but Smalljim decided to undelete it and subject it to AfD. I don't, however, see the assertion of importance. A businessman, who is a director of several companies? So are many thousands of people. A university graduate? So are many millions: obviously not a claim of significance. Son of a prominent businessman? Notability is not inherited. Certainly no indication of notability, and I see no assertion of significance either. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:39, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Non-notable CEO of non-notable company. A handful of listings are not sufficient for WP:GNG, and he doesn't pass anything at WP:BIO that I can see. Yunshui 雲水 10:58, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Delete Article does not have significant coverage in more than one secondary verified source to satisfy WP:GNG ZachFoutre (talk) 13:25, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong delete Delete, salt, light on fire. Poorest self-promotional resume I've seen. Zero notability yet, and repreated re-creation by I would expect to be the actual person, contrary to WP:AUTOBIO. Speedy deletes should have been enough, but this should be the final nail in the coffin (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:43, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Vaibhav sir has not written this article. I am a journalist with Livemint, an affiliate of wall street journal. I request you remove this page than this be discussed in such a crude manner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by India2685 (talk • contribs) 22:07, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- The page will be deleted soon, but by listing it here I wanted you to see that it wasn't just the opinion of one or two people but the Wikipedia community at large that Vaibhav Maloo is not a notable person for our purposes. Although not many have commented here, you can be sure that if our rules indicated that he should be included, there would be a lot of people saying "keep". I can also assure you that we are usually polite to new editors, so I hope you're not too discouraged and will still want to contribute to Wikipedia in future. But before you do, you need to make sure that you understand the messages that were posted on your talk page. —SMALLJIM 11:52, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
