Subject does not meet WP:EVENT, specifically WP:DIVERSE and relatedly WP:RS. Sources include 1 independent news source (the Collegiate Times), several Reddit posts apparently associated with the event organisers (u/vthuntoverseer, i.e. primary source), the event website (a primary source), and a now-404ed article on a general event bulletin run by Virginia Tech. The article's original author also indicates apparent WP:CONFLICT ("Rekam eulC", who is "the (host organization) Septagram Society's figurehead" according to the article itself) Notecharlie (talk) 00:44, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
- Delete Fails WP:SIGCOV. The article literally cites a Reddit thread. Searching 'VT Hunt' on Google gave me the VT Hunt site (which we cannot use due to being self-published), Wikipedia and its mirrors, the aforementioned Reddit thread (again cannot be used), and information on hunting in the state of Vermont. I would go so far as to say this article fails WP:GNG due to being a university event. Maybe if this kind of thing was widespread across different universities it would be notable, but an event confined to a single university just isn't notable. - Delete I cannot find any independent reliable sources that cover this event, no notability. My first thought was to redirect to Virginia Tech and add a sentence in that article under "Student life", but without any independent notice of it, it doesn't seem WP:DUE. (The Collegiate Times article was written by a VT student who participated in the hunt, so I don't consider it independent or significant.) Schazjmd (talk) 14:32, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
