Almost entirely a photo gallery, no sources, no chance of being sourced. It's just an undefined district. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 12:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. A district with no specific relevance. Deserves no more than a paragraph in the city's main article - if even. McMarcoP (talk) 12:25, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep there are articles about city's neighborhoods, most cities have articles about their downtowns why can't Laredo have an article about its uptown district? I would agree to a merge but the Laredo, Texas article is growing to big. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AMAPO (talk • contribs) Thryduulf (talk) 20:48, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Maybe because there's no specific definition to "Uptown Laredo". It's not like it's a signed neighborhood or anything. You might as well write about "Uptown Oscoda, Michigan" which is a bunch of subdivisions and a Kmart. - Dude don't even compare a town of village of 900 with a metro area with +700,000 people... which makes think up of my next point most metro areas in the world are not officialiy defined, you wanna get rid of those too? you might not know about Laredo, Texas or Laredo Uptown but it attracts hundredes of thousands of International shoppers (which is a form of tourism (Look up border shopping on the net)) each year. You wanna compare a Kmart with dozens plazas with doezens or stores and malls? You are wrong buddy. --AMAPO (talk) 16:55, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- You also realize that your argument is WP:WAX? Just because we have an article on X doesn't mean we should have one on Y. Do you have any sources? All I'm finding is Google Maps or directory listings, which are not enough. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 17:28, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete. No significant coverage in independent reliable sources; unlikely to be of note outside of Laredo. Karanacs (talk) 01:53, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Non-notable district. I have not been able to uncover reliable sources about it. Cunard (talk) 08:31, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
