Comment Is is clearly an essay (we even get a conclusion!), however with WP:NPOV, unlike the other primary policies, neutrality breaches are supposed to be fixed by editing. Other editors have, over the years, occasionally dropped in to amend sources, so it's actually fairly minimal on the WP:OR or WP:SYNTH that are the other usual grounds to delete in similar essays. It could easily be reduced to something worthwhile if someone took a (very) hefty axe to it. However you would end up with content that is already covered in Manifest destiny, American imperialism or Mexican-American War, and thus duplicative. Those three aspects are already linked and considered in minor detail. Whether there is any benefit of specifically considering how the three aspects link together in detail (post-axe), I don't know. Delete We even get an odd map of the US that groups all counties with over 4% Spanish-speakers. Considering some counties in south-Texas have over 50%, such grouping makes no sense.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:59, 28 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
