University departments are rarely independently notable and this one is no exception. The article is mostly sourced to the department's own website. The independent sources present are just in-passing mentions in articles about other subjects. The only more substantial source is the one on Poynter News, and that one isn't exactly independent either. In short, does not meet WP:GNG, hence: Delete.
