Article unsourced and no reliable third party sources found (TV.com not a RS). Only source on ja.Wikipedia is to a fan site. Notability concerns: despite list of unverifiable credits, does not meet WP:ENT. Plad2 (talk) 05:54, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete as I can find no evidence of notability. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 06:20, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete I'd made an earlier attempt to source this myself and had PROD'd it, but withdrew the PROD in favor of this AfD, I had missed that there'd been a previous contested PROD or BLPPROD. Either way, I still haven't been able to find sources to establish notability. --j⚛e deckertalk 06:22, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per nom and above. みんな空の下 (トーク | I wanna chAngE!) 06:32, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as article fails notability criteria for actors. Armbrust Talk Contribs 13:05, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - Um, guys? Is no one noticing that his role on Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman is as the Red Ranger, i.e., the leader? —Quasirandom (talk) 14:05, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- One lead role doesn't make a person notable. If he'd played multiple lead roles and we could verify that, then he would past WP:ENT. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 15:22, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Agreed that one lead role wouldn't be enough, unless there was evidence that role got outstanding notice. But all the above comments are about finding "no" evidence. That's evidence right there, making it worth checking the other roles instead of auto-dismissing him based on how poorly the article makes his notability evident. The ones I've been able to check, they haven't been lead roles, but that's only the blue-linked series -- we need to check the others. —Quasirandom (talk) 14:11, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I agree that we need to check the others, but as I wrote, I can't find any reliable sources to use to back up the notability of the subject of this article. Therefore, I have determined that the subject is not notable. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WikiProject Japan! 15:49, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment - Difficult to say because information on 藤敏也 is in Japanese language. google links minor reference minor reference Google books. I don't understand enough to comment on the Google Books listed but it's possible some of that is a useful source. Maybe someone who speaks Japanese can assist? - There are no news or scholar hits; a dozen or so books are false positives. There are a number of mentions on the web (Google estimate 6,500, for what that's worth), but the first twenty hits are for fan sites, blogs, video sharing and the like. I didn't find useful sources in the Google hits I looked at. Cnilep (talk) 19:30, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep I added a few sources repeating the linkage of the individual to the character and the significance of the character to the series. In doing the search, I found lots of less dependable sources, fansites and the like mentioning the significance of this individual and the character he played. Its not like he is insignificant. Curb your enthusiasm to delete. Trackinfo (talk) 17:32, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- No one is enthusiastic to delete this, it was tagged as part of the work of the Unreferenced BLP Rescue Project. The academic.ru cite you added is a wiki mirror by the way, i'll take that one out and leave the others.--Milowent • talkblp-r 03:12, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Two of the remaining sources are simply mirrors of all or part of Chikyuu_Sentai_Fiveman --j⚛e deckertalk 05:13, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
