  • Delete. People do not get Wikipedia articles just for being unsuccessful election candidates — but there's no claim here that he had preexisting notability for other reasons, and not nearly enough sourcing to make his candidacy a special case over and above all the other unsuccessful candidates who don't have and aren't getting Wikipedia articles for that.
