Although sightings of initially-unidentified large birds are well documented, grouping them under the "thunderbird" moniker and proposing an unknown species is entirely unsupported by reliable sources and represents a fringe POV. Merge or Redirect to Thunderbird (mythology), per WP:PRESERVE. This article is really nothing more than a fork of the article related to the mythological animal, being one concerned with supposed sightings of it.
