The subject of this article does not appear to meet WP:ACADEMIC, mainly because he is an assistant professor at Presidency University, having received his PhD in 2011. He is the editor of a journal that is barely two years old and he has only just published one book. Of course this person may become notable but that will most likely take some time. • Delete. Tiny cites. Editor of insignificant journal. Far too early. Xxanthippe (talk) 05:31, 2 November 2013 (UTC).[reply]
  • Delete for lack of evidence of passing WP:PROF. Most humanities academics publish at least one book so unless it has attracted an unusual level of attention that wouldn't be enough. —David Eppstein (talk) 06:23, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Too soon. Nothing to add to the above !votes. --Randykitty (talk) 15:22, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
