- Weak keep. There isn't a whole lot of in-depth news coverage of him yet, but I'm inclined to agree with the commenters at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tyler Tingley that Exeter is a sufficiently important institution for its principal to be notable, especially also given the connections through his wife. —David Eppstein (talk) 21:44, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- PS there do seem to be quite a few highly unreliable sources either decrying Hassan for having a Muslim-sounding name and for inviting Muslim civil rights organizations to speak on-campus, or calling out the first group as bigoted. Probably best that this hasn't shown up in the article. —David Eppstein (talk) 06:54, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep as above. Xxanthippe (talk) 21:57, 7 January 2013 (UTC).[reply]
- Merge and redirect content to Maggie_Hassan#Personal_life. I just don't see enough coverage on him at the moment to justify a standalone article, but at the same time, we have a viable place to put what little there is, until such time that reliable sources have taken notice of him in his own right. - Weak keep. Because of Phillips Exeter Academy’s prestige, one could make a case for a “keep” based on WP:PROF criterion #6 (highest-level elected or appointed academic post at a major academic institution or major academic society). I believe that this criterion is mostly aimed at higher ed institutions, but does not completely exclude notable pre-higher ed schools.--Eric Yurken (talk) 17:59, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Withdraw as there exists enough sources now. FrankDev (talk) 04:15, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
