The Summer EP[edit]
- The Summer EP (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
Future EP of a barely notable artist, supported with only blog/myspace sources. Fails WP:NALBUMS. Astronaut (talk) 04:44, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Note: The album's artist, NeverShoutNever! has some interesting exposure, including a #1 single on one of Billboard's charts.[1] Also, MTV also has a current bio of NeverShoutNever! on the website, including several live videos which were broadcast on MTV.[2] Although it only establishes notability for the musical artist, it should probably be considered. Cheers. --OliverTwisted (Talk) (Stuff) 04:58, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong Keep: He was just selected as a Yahoo! Who's Next artist. In the article, they talk about his Summer EP. I will be adding the source to the page. Please close this AfD and Keep the article. He is obviously notable as stated above. --Russ is the sex (talk) 14:19, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: Please bear in mind that it is a yet to be released EP which I am nominating for deletion. As has already been established, the artist NeverShoutNever! is quite possibly notable. The problem with the EP's article is that the references (including Russ's "Yahoo! Who's Next" source) are still all blogs and forums and therefore fail Wikipedia's policy on reliable sources. Astronaut (talk) 14:45, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: I'm seeing a lot of trivial sources from blogs and myspace. EP hasn't been released and without adequate independent 3rd party sources, falls into WP:CRYSTAL category. non-notable. JamesBurns (talk) 05:04, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, no reliable 3rd party sources. A-Kartoffel (talk) 01:34, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: I put a link to a video interview on a local TV station where he discusses recording in Long Beach, CA on the article page. --Russ is the sex (talk) 14:23, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
