The result was merge to Cobra (G.I. Joe)#Bases. This is a selective merge, necessary because there is no mention in the proposed target. (non-admin closure) buidhe 23:41, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Non-notable action figure playset. I'm unsure if Bellomo's "Ultimate Guide" is independent or not, but the rest of the citations are an unreliable fansite, the comics themselves, a primary source "Official Guide", and a fiction novel. A WP:BEFORE search turns up assorted unreliable fansites, sales sites, and user-generated databases. Fails GNG. Hog Farm (talk) 21:36, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge to Cobra (G.I. Joe)#Bases per WP:PRESERVE and WP:ATD. BOZ (talk) 22:54, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - I don't care about G.I. Joe, but after seeing many of these AfDs...I think the first two refs would count as independent and reliable. Krause, which is now owned by Penguin, published books and magazines devoted to collecting. I'm sure Hasbro aided the authors; I doubt they dictated the content and editing. As for whether two RS are enough, or whether a page in a book is enough (I can't see it), or whether there are other RS "out there," again, don't really care... • I would say it depends on whether or not the books were officially licensed books. If they were, I don't think that would make them any more independent than any of the other licensed material that was not published by Hasbro themselves, such as the comics, fictional books, etc. The second one's title makes it sound like they were an "official" book, but its hard to tell from the information on Google books if that was actually the case, or if that's just what the called the book. Though, that seems to be a bit of a moot point in this case, as the content from the book I am able to see is neither substantial nor does it indicate any independent notability.
