The subject of this autobiography is a person whose claim to fame is that he is the artistic director of a non-notable theatre. —teb728 t c 05:15, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Since his name is common, I threw the theater name into a Google News search to reduce false positives. What do you know? The theater is notable and the director is notable. Both have had in-depth coverage in reliable sources for a quarter of a century.Cullen328 (talk) 05:44, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong keep — well referenced, notable. I recommend that the proposer follows WP:BEFORE more closely in future. — Jonathan Bowen (talk) 17:41, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete A lot of talk about alleged references by the two users above me, but as so many times, not an actual single reference is provided. Delete as I can't find anything of note.--Sloane (talk) 23:52, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. Actually a reference to a reliable source was added to the article several hours before Sloane commented. Phil Bridger (talk) 10:50, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep They do mention him as the director of everything they review at [1]. He is also interviewed and quoted at [2]. Other mentions of him are about, but it a lot of results to search through. I'm convinced of his notability by what has been found thus far. Dream Focus 21:07, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete (by proposer). Cullen328’s search strategy returns about 30 mentions of Craig but little or no significant coverage (which is the standard of notability). A possible exception is this review where he is quoted extensively; it is difficult, however, to see how the review could be cited in the article other than to show that he directed the reviewed show. As written the article is just a resume, with no indication of importance other than saying that he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts; although that sounds impressive, FRSA says qualifications include potential (not necessarily achievement) in the subject fields. (I don’t have access to the book cited in the article, but judging from how the citation is used, it mentions that he directed an Off-Broadway production in 1980.) —teb728 t c 00:24, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep the director of a notable theatre company is ipso facto a notable chap.I.Casaubon (talk) 19:13, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment What section of Wikipedia:Notability (people) says that? —teb728 t c 20:22, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
