I say we move this to Draft:List of cartoons considered the best and provide additional lists of comparable weight to develop an article more broadly assessing the field, comparable to List of films considered the best. BD2412 T 16:34, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Certainly not opposed to someone creating that and using the TV Guide source, but I don't think we need to take the roundabout trip through draftspace just to save this history.     - Much of the edit history consists of vandalism and people adding their own personal favorite shows to the list. If we considered only changes that could potentially have improved the article, the edit history would be much shorter. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 17:57, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. The only source cited for this TV Guide-created list is TV Guide itself. That does not establish that this list is notable. (The fact that the cartoons on the list are notable doesn't make this list notable; this article is about a list created by an outside source, rather than being a Wikipedia-created list, so WP:SALAT doesn't apply.) --Metropolitan90 (talk) 16:40, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Delete - As stated, while the cartoons listed are certainly notable, this article is not about them, its about the single article by the TV Guide. The actual article from the TV Guide itself would make a great reliable source for various other articles, but a Wikipedia article about a TV guide article is redundant. - We do have a few others, yes. Category:TV Guide lists includes a few apart from the covers. Nominated one of them.
