Article is about a chapter of TESOL. Maybe we should create an article about TESOL and merge them? This article isn't notable on its own. LouriePieterse 12:27, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Redirect to TESOL Inc. Separate article lacks notability. Favonian (talk) 12:38, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for sharing your views, but it is not possible to create one page for TESOL, each TA (Teachers Association) is a different entity. TESOL Greece is the not-profit, volunteer, professional association for teachers of English in Greece. Our goal is not to advertise TG, but create a wikipedia entry since TG is a point of reference in Greece. - Delete non-notable. Unless being "independent, volunteer, non-profit" makes them notable. If it does then there is a case for Merge into section English_Language_Learning_and_Teaching#Professional_associations_and_unions. Exit2DOS • Ctrl • Alt • Del 03:55, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete fails to establish notability. Josh Parris 01:13, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is a number of Teachers Associations present here (with a valid entry), all of them in the USA and TESOL Inc affiliates. Unfortunately, you want to delete one of the oldest European Teachers Associations - TESOL Inc affiliates, as not notable.--Pitychoutis (talk) 09:01, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Well then, by all means, please edit into the Article what makes this perticular one notable. As it currently stands, the Article is not telling us much more than a business directory would tell us, and WP is not a business directory.
