The result was delete. We do not usually merge unsourced content and I have discounted those arguments. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 02:46, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

School has been defunct since 2007. It has zero references. Please note it is not the same as this school: http://www.summitcollege.ca/about-summit/ S Philbrick(Talk) 19:02, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Per WP:NTEMP, the fact that it shut down almost 10 years ago isn't a reason for deletion. Delete or Selective merge in Muskoka Bible Centre, in any case it doesn't seem to be much information about this on the web.--Prisencolin (talk) 22:14, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Granted, the fact that it's defunct is not, in and of itself, a reason for deletion — but the fact that it's entirely unsourced and almost entirely unsourceable, and thus fails WP:GNG, is a reason for deletion. On a ProQuest search, in fact, I got just one hit for the phrase "Summit College" — and that hit was referring to something associated with the University of Akron, not to any bible school in Muskoka. And even the Muskoka Bible Centre itself isn't really all that sourceable either; I'm finding about as much coverage of it, on either ProQuest or Google, as I'm finding of the college. So it doesn't pass GNG either and needs to go to AFD too, and accordingly isn't a viable redirect target. Delete. Bearcat (talk) 03:01, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Possible merge to Muskoka Bible Conference as a brief section in that article. I does not sound as if it was ever very notable. Peterkingiron (talk) 19:35, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • delete It was hard to even find it. I did finally find info in a search that turned up on a Harvest Bible Fellowship page that failed to load, but the info I sould see on the search read: " In 1996, Kaj started a one-year wilderness discipleship school called Summit College." So that sounds like the place. Not a college, a program. No notability - and, since I accepted that it was a small, defunct college, I searched. Ah, here: [1] is a page that did load. The name Summit College should go to this votech school [2] , presuming that it is legit.E.M.Gregory (talk) 21:35, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    • I can confirm that the votech School is legit. In fact, they are the ones who contacted Wikimedia, concerned that someone searching for their school was arriving at this page. I am not convinced the votech school will meet the notability hurdle, so absent creating an article for them and using dab or hatnotes, I thought it would be worth considering deletion of the existing article. I agree that being defunct is not a sufficient reason for deletion, but as there is almost nothing on the school, the fact that they are defunct means it is highly likely there ever will be. Deletion will at least eliminate the false positives.--S Philbrick(Talk) 19:16, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
