Article was prodded by Mosmof (talk · contribs) with the concern "Recreation of an WP:AUTOBIO deleted after an Afd. The subject of the article has not apparently done anything new to qualify under WP:N and notability still does not seem to be supported by in-depth coverage from sources independent of the subject's school or community." I contested the prod on the grounds that this article has been deleted twice before as Steve Gatena and has been at AfD 3 times under that title and therefore believe this should not be deleted without discussion.
I am otherwise neutral for now on whether the article should be deleted. —KuyaBriBriTalk 17:23, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per the prod rationale and the excellent nomination statement at the article's third AfD. Also, this reads more like a resume than an encyclopedia article. ThemFromSpace 23:33, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete as original PROD nominator. The article is pretty well sourced actually, but as far as I can tell, none of the cited sources establish WP:N, i.e. in-depth coverage in independent, third party publications. Sources appear to be brief mentions in news roundup or profiles by publications tied to the subject's schools or communities. The user already has a near-identical promo-ish autobio as user page, so I don't see the need for another article in the main article space. --Mosmof (talk) 04:35, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete - Fails WP:ATH, and I don't think he even started a game for USC. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:05, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete While I think that there may have been a possibility to have this page as a stub, as he had played at three different NCAA schools in one sport, the remaining consensus has spoken on this--and done so thoroghly. It does indeed look like an autobiography which is strictly prohibited. Try another Wiki.--Paul McDonald (talk) 21:08, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
