  • Delete per nom. No evidence it's a term used anywhere else and certainly not in any official manner. --AussieLegend () 16:30, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Someone created this tiny, poorly referenced stub and then abandoned it, but it appears to be a widely used term; I get a lot of reliable-source results in this search: [1]. The Sydney Morning Herald identifies the Southern Villages as Exeter, Bundanoon, Penrose, and Wingello ([2]). SunChaser (talk) 09:12, 30 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
At best this is a dictionary definition that belongs on Wiktionary. It certainly doesn't have official status. The towns that this refers to are all part of the Southern Highlands. In essence, it's the same as referring to a housing estate within a suburb or town.. It doesn't warrant an article. --AussieLegend () 10:21, 30 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per AussieLegend. SunChaser's Google search further suggests non-notability. The Drover's Wife (talk) 00:19, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge and redirect to Southern Highlands (New South Wales). It is a term occasionally used, but it is just a loose local term and not a discussed independent topic. Southern Highlands (New South Wales) needs better internal structuring to accommodate localities by subregion, which I think will be very helpful to the reader. Some kind of map would help. I considered but decided against recommending a merge to Bundanoon, New South Wales. These southern villages could be broken out of the "Villages, small towns and localities" of Template:Southern Highlands. "Southern villages" is a very poor top level descriptor, it may work locally, but elsewhere I would call these towns "New South Wales Southern Highlands towns on the Campbelltown-Goulburn railway line". --SmokeyJoe (talk) 00:46, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete–real estate term that adds nothing useful to Southern Highlands (New South Wales).--Grahame (talk) 01:00, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak Delete – There should be more information on the villages in New South Wales in this article with examples and lifestyles, but regardless, the topic isn't notable. There's no real reason to keep. Considering the comments above and the nomination, deletion is the best option. No prejudice against recreating the article with my suggestion on the villages themselves. Redditaddict69 16:27, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Just noting that articles exist for each of the villages mentioned in the article. --AussieLegend () 17:47, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
