Weak Keep Although not mentioned in the article, I found a reference [1] that suggests Alvarez is notable. The source claims he won a gold medal at the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships and the Pan American [BJJ] Championships. No year is stated but it would have been around 1994, I think. It also states he was a three-time silver medalist at Abu Dhabi Combat Championships.
