This article fails WP:GNG, lacks inline citations and lacks secondary sources. Googling the "Safe Meat and Poultry Inspection Panel" returns results only from the U.S. Code. While there are some mentions from newspaper stories, they are all from April 1996 when this panel was supposedly created and are just the same wire story or stories syndicated over and over. - Delete I previously added a PROD tag to this article but it was removed without the concerns being addressed. Fails WP:ORGCRIT. As nom says completely lacking sources and no evidence good ones exist. AusLondonder (talk) 03:41, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- Merge to Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996, which created the panel. There is significant coverage in newspapers, periodicals and other sources that are not part of the US Code, in Google Books, Google Scholar and elsewhere. For the avoidance of doubt, I should point out that a commentary on the US Code is not the same thing as the US Code. James500 (talk) 21:21, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
- Merge to Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996, per James500, who is correct in “that a commentary on the US Code is not the same thing as the US Code.” Bearian (talk) 03:29, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
