  • Delete. People do not get Wikipedia articles just for standing as candidates in elections they did not win — to earn a Wikipedia article, he would have to either (a) demonstrate that he had preexisting notability for other reasons that would already have gotten him into Wikipedia regardless of the candidacy, or (b) show a depth and range and volume of reliable source coverage that credibly marks his candidacy as much more special than everybody else's candidacies.
