- Punjab Communist Marxist Party (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
Article created, but the actual subject of the article is unclear. It seems that the creating editor in question has used [1] this article as his source (as for a couple of other articles), but that ref is a bit dubious (since several names of political parties are misspelt, and that the claims are not repeated in other newsreports on the 2002 conference). The name given in the ref is just "Communist Marxist of Punjab", which is most likely a spelling error. Perhaps it could have been the Ram Mangal Pasla group (which often was referred to as 'CPM(Punjab)' or likewise), but politically that would be a bit odd. - Comment A variety of the parties mentioned in that ref are incorrect spellings, it'll take a bit of extra research to figure this one out. -SpacemanSpiffCalvin‡Hobbes 18:11, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: This Marxist group has little info online, not clear. The Ram Pasla group as mentioned above is known as Lok Sangharsh Morcha in Punjab, so this seems like some other faction, found some info on 'Communist Party of Punjab' here see # 49, though but not this. --Ekabhishek (talk) 13:03, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: The party in the IISG link is simply the Punjab branch of the undivided Communist Party of India. Lok Sangharsh Morcha was a front of the Pasla group. The Pasla group, now unified into Marxist Communist Party of India (United), did continue calling itself 'CPI(M)', causing Indian massmedia to use various different namings such as 'CPM(Pasla)' or 'CPM(Punjab)'. --Soman (talk) 16:57, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so consensus may be reached.

- Delete without prejudice. No verifiability at this point. The link above from Ekabhishek suggests a different party, as it predates splinters of CPI(M). -SpacemanSpiffCalvin‡Hobbes 18:49, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Given the above comments. If it exists, it doesn't appear to be notable in itself.Fuzbaby (talk) 04:12, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
