- Keep: Has nom carried out any due diligence checks WP:BEFORE nominating this? The criterion is that sources exist, not that they are cited, or that the article is even coherent. A quick search finds plenty of sources, including Theories of Political Literacy, Literacy, Civic Education, and Civic Engagement: A Return to Political Socialization?, Literacy Cuts Both Ways: The Politics of Non-participation among Young People. There can be no doubt that the concept exists and is in academic use. The article needs serious work, but that isn't our concern here at AfD. Chiswick Chap (talk) 19:16, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
