I don't think this is a notable location. The non-GNIS source simply describes this as It is near the Ohio R., on the line of the Monongahela West Penn Public Service Company, Williams D., Wood County and suggests that the name may be of Native American origin. Newspapers.com results are all for Pohick Church and some ACW stuff in Virginia. West Virginia Geographic Names calls it a locale, which is a USGS designation reserved for noncommunity sites. Listed as a railroad stop between Williamstown and Kellar in 1899. This suggests that Pohick is an individual house in Hendersons, West Virginia, for which we do not seem to have an article. This suggests a B&O rail feature. While it's not entirely clear what this Pohick was, I don't think it's notable. Hog Farm Talk 20:16, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

- A self-published history book (that I wouldn't use) and https://sah-archipedia.org/buildings/WV-01-WD25 both agree that it is the former name of Henderson Hall in the Henderson Hall Historic District, which led to http://www.wvculture.org/shpo/nr/pdf/wood/86000811.pdf which explains it in a reliable source on page 8—4. Flesh out Henderson Hall Historic District and we could just redirect. Uncle G (talk) 06:54, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
- And the NRHP form discusses the B&O right of way going through the Henderson Hall district, which explains the rail connection as well. I've got a few NRHP GAs, so this looks like a good expansion project for me. Agree that this can be redirected once the Henderson Hall article gets fleshed out. - @Uncle G: - I'm not done expanding the Henderson Hall article by a long ways yet, but I've added enough that I think we can safely redirect Pohick to there now. Are you okay with me withdrawing this AFD in order for the redirection? Hog Farm Talk 15:53, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
- It appears to be just us two here. ☺ I have no objection. Uncle G (talk) 17:36, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
