Comment In addition to being a Guggenheim Fellow, he appears to have held a named chair at Tufts (the Henry J. Leir Chair of International Humanitarian Studies), and he was profiled in The Chronicle of Higher Education as being the first provost of Amherst College. Book reviews: [1][2][3][4]. Keep, meets WP:NAUTHOR, plenty of reviews of his books, (some of which have enough to warrant their own articles (not that i'm suggesting anyone creates them:))), thanks to David Eppstein for listing some/most of them in the article, that are "well known" (reflected by their library holdings, just enter "Peter Uvin" in worldcat and click away), i know the article was tiny pre-afd see here, but nominator needs to remember before, before, before, before, before, before.......
