Non-notable fictional character. Has some Google scholar hits, but only discussed in-depth in [1]. Fails WP:GNG, as one paragraph in Mythlore isn't enough to establish notability. Hog Farm (talk) 20:31, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

- Weak delete – I have found some sources, but all are very much stretching the definition of significant coverage. This is probably the only one to be discussed from a view that is arguably not in-universe. These are all primarily discussing this character from an in-universe perspective, along with the majority of the Google Scholar hits as pointed out by the nominator. According to our article on The Tolkien Society it is
devoted to the study and promotion of the life and works of the author and academic J. R. R. Tolkien
so that rules out this source. I do not have access to this source, but given the other ones I can only assume that it does not contain significant coverage. All in all, plus the source found by the nominator, I believe that in the highest likelihood it falls just short of our notability requirements. There does not seem to be any one place which is the obvious redirect target, and a merge anywhere would produce undue emphasis on Orodreth. Happy New Year! // J947 (c) 21:52, 31 December 2019 (UTC) - Delete: non-notable character. Appears in The Silmarillion which is not one of Tolkien's major works.--Jack Upland (talk) 23:23, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
