The subject falls well short of meeting the notability criteria set out in WP:CREATIVE — Fly by Night (talk) 23:07, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete Definitely fails notability criteria. Her novel September isn't listed on any book or publishing database I have access to (which is most of them), and the only coverage I can find online boils down to copies of this article. Yunshui 雲水 09:14, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete I agree with Yunshui's argument. This article fails notability criteria and should be deleted. Sephiroth87 User talk:Sephiroth87 Special:Contributions/Sephiroth87 09:18, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Don't throw this one under the bus just yet. I was going to !vote "Delete" as I could find nothing for "Omnia El Khayat", I then did find some relevant-looking results for "أمنية إبراهيمالخياط" using Google Translate. It's possible notability could be established using Arabic-language resources, but someone with better Arabic skills than I needs to dig them up.

- This raises an interesting question. If notability can only be asserted in a foreign language, then is a subject still deemed notable for the English language Wikipedia. Part of me says that if we can only assert notability using Arabic websites, then her article belongs on the Arabic language Wikipedia. Although part of me says that that doesn't feel right. Do we have guidelines on this? — Fly by Night (talk) 19:53, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment there are more sources in the arabic wikipedia article, but unless an arabic speaker translates the notability claims and verifies that they're supported by the sources, it's going to have to be deleted. Stuartyeates (talk) 09:04, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
