The Old Roman Catholic Church in North America is a small group with no recognition from any major Christian denominations. Their leaders are widely seen as "episcopi vagantes" and nothing of notice can be said about them. The only source the article appears to reference to is the website of the group itself. Comment I recall an AFD for "Old catholic church in Italy" - is this "Old Roman Catholic..." related to/same as "Old Catholic Church", for which we have some articles? Lamona (talk) 01:52, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- @Lamona: if you refer to the Old Catholic Church of the Union of Utrecht, then the answer is no. The Old Roman Catholic Church in North America is not connected to the Union of Utrecht.--Karma1998 (talk) 21:54, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  @Karma1998, I think you intended to link to Union of Utrecht (Old Catholic). If the ORCCiNA is not part of the UofU Federation it is still very much Old Catholic with Utrecht-derived episcopal lineages. Membership in the UofU may lend some more notability, perhaps, but Old Catholic is a huge, haphazard umbrella where all roads lead back to Utrecht, historically speaking. Membership in the UofU seems extremely limited; the vast majority of Old Catholics are not members. Elizium23 (talk) 21:57, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment as far as I can tell, there is no longer an entity by this name. Their "Jurisdictions" page lists 3 entities: one in Great Britain, one in Canada, and one in the US. Elizium23 (talk) 22:04, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Comment -- According to this internal website the whole movement of which this is a splinter had 50,000 adherents in 1958 when Archbishop Carmel Henry Carfora died and it says that the dioceses went in different directions in the years after his death. The link in the article to a predecessor denomination is actually a redirect to him. My impression is that this is about a handful of local churches whose leaders have titles sounding much grander that their actual role. I normally vote to keep denominations, but this appears to be so small that I doubt this is appropriate in this case. The alternative would be to merge or redirect, but I cannot identify a target.
