Odious Mortem[edit]
- Odious Mortem (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
Non-notable band... of the 7 news hits that are found, 2 are about one of the members of the band (playing for another band), 4 are concert announcements (in which they are only one of a long list of performers, not headliners), and one is an "upcoming album" announcement... Does not meet any of the criteria under WP:BAND... Adolphus (talk) 17:26, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
DeleteNeutral - does not meet notability requirements. — LinguistAtLarge • Talk 18:22, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- User:MinorLegend pointed out on my talk page that Odious Mortem meets criterion #6 of WP:BAND because 3 members were also members of Decrepit Birth. If that can be verified with reliable sources, I'll happily change my recommendation here. — LinguistAtLarge • Talk 22:12, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I read MinorLegend's comment on the article's talk page, and replied there... But... After looking at the Decrepit Birth article, and checking the news, they appear to be barely more notable than Odious Mortem... If the members of this non-notable band later joined a slightly more notable (but possibly still not enough to pass WP:BAND) band, does that really add to the notability of this band? - Adolphus (talk) 23:26, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I could go either way on these. I'd say a decision needs to be made on the notability of Decrepit Birth. If they are deemed notable, then that confers notability on Odious Mortem as well. — LinguistAtLarge • Talk 04:19, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep, passes WP:MUSIC#C5, album releases on Willowtip Records & Unique Leader Records; [1], [2]. Esradekan Gibb "Talk" 11:11, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Dodgy. Two albums on moderately notable labels and having members from a similarly moderately notable band kind of edge in at WP:MUSIC, but where are the sources? Weak delete unless some strong sources are found (someone feel free to poke me on my talk page if that occurs and I'll reevaluate). Tony Fox (arf!) 21:52, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: Agree with Mr. Fox here. There a definite lack of substantial 3rd party sources for this band. JamesBurns (talk) 08:21, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, passes WP:MUSIC with two albums on notable labels (that another editor regards them as only "moderately notable" is neither here nor there). Blackmetalbaz (talk) 14:06, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. WP:MUSIC is still not a suicide pact. We can argue all we like about technically meeting this or that standard, but there's bugger-all we can make for verified factual claims about this band. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire - past ops) 23:09, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
