  • Keep, due to an entirely flawed nomination rationale. If it were true then this would be a speedy delete A10, but it isn't. The opening sentence of the alleged duplicate article says "Odeon is a cinema brand name operating in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Norway, which along with UCI Cinemas and Nordic Cinema Group is part of the Odeon Cinemas Group subsidiary of AMC Theatres". So at least two other cinema chains are in the group. SpinningSpark 13:53, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment The nomination is flawed, yes. This holding company just doesn't meet WP:NCORP. Almost every source is about it's subsidiary Odeon Cinemas or it's parent company AMC Theatres. There's not a lot of sources focused on the intermediate holding company, reflected in part by the fact the article is such a short stub. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 17:24, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • The articles dont make it very clear what the relationship between the two entities is. But holding companies dont inherit notability from their parents or children. Rathfelder (talk) 20:38, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I hope you are going to put this excellent chart into one of the articles. Rathfelder (talk) 21:48, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think I am convinced that we should keep this article, because without it the articles about the other parts of the group will not make sense. But it's always hard to find sources about these intermediate structures. Rathfelder (talk) 21:59, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is some reliable news reporting on changes of key people. Maybe also some coverage from when the company acquired its subsidiaries could be used. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 22:05, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • WP:PRESERVE should be applied here. If there is not enough information for a standalone article, then redirect it to one of the associated articles. SpinningSpark 22:33, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I expanded the article a little with some sources I found earlier. I also added the chart. It is better than it was. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 22:53, 29 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you very much. Happy to withdraw my proposal. Rathfelder (talk) 09:42, 30 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
