- Keep. I disagree about the WP:ATH assessment. The Welsh Premier League appears to be a fully professional league, and notability is not temporary. Gosox5555 (talk) 23:44, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- The Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Fully_professional_leagues page suggests the Welsh Premier League is not fully professional BTW. Steve-Ho (talk) 04:53, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete The Welsh Premier League is most definitely not fully professional, per this it has only one full-time club, all others are part-timers. -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 15:10, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - fails WP:ATHLETE and WP:GNG. GiantSnowman 15:28, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment. I haven't yet looked for sources, but would point out that the Welsh Premier League, as well as not meeting what I consider to be the invalid guideline of being a fully professional league, doesn't meet the criterion that I would prefer of being a top level league in a country with a significant footballing tradition, as the top Welsh clubs play in the English league system. - Delete. Non-notable player, fails WP:ATHLETE and WP:GNG. --Carioca (talk) 23:24, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep The WPL is fully professional and is regulated by the FA, thus it passes WP:ATH IJA (talk) 18:42, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Erm, I linked to an article above from the league's own website, which clearly states that there is only one fully professional club in the league and the rest are all part-timers. -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:11, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
