Fails WP:SPORTBASIC. The article may look superficially adequate, but the references are mostly player profiles and database entries with WP:SYNTH to generate prose. There is no evidence the player has been covered by reliable, secondary sources to such an extent that notability can be demonstrated. This was the opinion reached in the May AfD and I can't see an improvement. The Scotsman source is the only one that isn't a database-like entry, yet is just direct quotation from the subject.
