- Delete These were a real people of the Amazon, if any truth at all. We don't need to be repeating Fawcett's "missing-link" junk calling them apes and monsters. I removed all that from the article.—eric 22:49, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

- Delete per WP:FRINGE. It's some sort of alleged ape-man/Bigfoot from South America, but I can't find any good sources, just junk online. I found two sources with passing references. It was apparently created as a hoax by a yellow journalist. Bearian (talk) 23:10, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
