This was deleted as the result of an AfD, but treated as an expired prod. Less than 2 weeks later it was recreated. Nothing has changed since the AfD. Not sure why the link to the first discussion didn't transclude. Here it is: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mac Clark Onel5969 TT me 16:24, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Mentions on a few different websites, nothing for RS. Toronto Star article is about the only RS I can see, something on sportsnet but it comes up as a 404 site. Still delete. Oaktree b (talk) 17:44, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak delete - Is the subject of a new fluff piece published on Inside Track News [1]. Despite going above and beyond mere WP:ROUTINE reporting, I have concerns about its independence as the piece appears to have been written by an agency called "Speed Group". This "Speed Group" lists James Hinchcliffe as a "partner" and the article does mention the subject as being a "protégé" of Hinchcliffe. If other editors feel this is independent enough, then we have 2 sources meeting GNG and we can keep this. Otherwise, delete. -"Ghost of Dan Gurney" 06:52, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - I also invite Formula Downforce to this discussion, as the edit history shows that they challenged the soft deletion. -"Ghost of Dan Gurney" 06:58, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Draftify - I do think that winning a rung of the Road to Indy ladder does make him notable but even if there's not enough coverage about him yet his article should be kept as a draft because he's likely to become more notable in the near future. • Delete. Fails WP:NSPORT and WP:SIGCOV. WP:SALT to prevent recreation.4meter4 (talk) 05:36, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
