The result was delete. I believe User:Walter Görlitz has confused my relist with User:Netherzone's comment about sources, but in any case it appears the participants in the discussion do not believe the sources found contain the level of coverage that would prove notability. His claim to notability seems to rest on one song he wrote - the song doesn't have an article and I couldn't establish that it is notable, or him. Boleyn (talk) 15:06, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

- Comment - I found some hits on Google Books[1], [2], [3] but I'm not sure that is enough to pass notability criteria. Netherzone (talk) 15:20, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

- Weak Delete In addition to the sources found by RL0919, there is this short bio: https://www.thehistoricalsociety.org/h/christmas-island.html although without an author, I'm not sure that it can be called reliable, and there is a DB with one other song co-written with Bob Hope: https://secondhandsongs.com/artist/69109. No bio at AllMusic but his credits https://www.allmusic.com/artist/lyle-moraine-mn0000209284/credits for the notable song alone are greater than the works of "notable" artists with articles on the project. At the very least, leave a redirect and include any reliably sourced details at a newly created article for the song (Christmas Island (song)) rather than the details at Christmas Island (disambiguation). - Delete for lacking notability and significant coverage. --SilverTiger12 (talk) 23:43, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- Delete per above, and per WP:TNT, or userfy. I did a deep dive and found some possible sources, but it needs too much work. Bearian (talk) 17:21, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
