This used to be where a BNSF/ex-BN/ex-GN spur headed off to join up with the McCloud River Railroad, a short line largely devoted to shipping lumber, at a place called (by the railroad, at any rate) Hambone. It's not an "unincorporated community" by any evidence whatsoever, and every reference to it is railroad-related. Various pictures show trackwork in the woods and a few railroad sheds.
