Keep While he may not derive notability as the father of Common, he does meet WP:NBASKETBALL from his season in the original ABA. That notability guideline is only meant to be a rule of thumb on whether GNG is likely met, but based on that guideline, there is a reasonable chance that the article can be cleaned up with sources focusing on his basketball career, even though with his career ending over 40 years ago, you might have to find them in old newspaper archives.
