The result was Speedy keep. AfD is not for addressing points of US law - the correct place for that is the courts. Hut 8.5 06:29, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The matter at hand is a point of (U.S.) law.
I assert that, contrary to the opinion stated on the page "Wikipedia:Revocation of GFDL is not permitted," the GNU Free Documentation License IS revokable with reference to a specific person (as that term is used in court), "source" or "channel," and is inherently so under U.S. law.
Referring only to the page "Wikipedia:Revocation of GFDL is not permitted" will not accomplish anything. For example: "Editors must be aware that they do not have a right to challenge the entire basis of the project and continue participating in it at the same time."
That is an "opinion" (which tends to resemble "bullying"). Please see the note at the top of the page: "It ['Revocation of GFDL is not permitted'] is not a policy or guideline, and editors are not obliged to follow it."
Therefore, editors do indeed have the right to "challenge the entire basis of the project and continue participating in it at the same time." Hyperbole such as this will not accomplish anything. Ldemery (talk) 06:20, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy keep. That is possibly the most bogus deletion rationale I've heard in my entire time on Wikipedia, or at least in the top five. A read of this may prove instructive for the nominator. --Calton | Talk 06:23, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
