- Delete Do we even need to have this list? Many of the pages of the people listed in this list did NOT hold active military ranks while in office, either before or after. No sources either for 16 years, might be better to WP:TNT this. Tooncool64 (talk) 09:07, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

- Speedy Delete - No purpose to the list - no sourcing, and no validation that any part of this list is accurate. — Maile (talk) 22:20, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Delete as WP:NOTDB and per criteria for WP:NLIST. Subject is not
discussed as a group or set by independent reliable sources
. Also, from WP:SELCRIT,If this person/thing/etc. weren't X, would it reduce their fame or significance.
The answer here would be a solid 'no'. If the sock note from Maile66 is substantiated (I can't find a quick way to check that), I would support SPEEDY. Cheers, Last1in (talk) 17:07, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Delete Per nomination. The scope of this article is much too broad, especially as in countries with mass conscription virtually all politicians (or at least male politicians) will have served in the military. Nick-D (talk) 06:55, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
