The charts taken from a single radio station in Mexico City which per WP:SINGLENETWORK is not allowed as it does not represent the whole country. Source: [1] Erick (talk) 03:38, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep The charts from 1961 to 1968 were provided by Audiomusica, which was not a radio station but a music magazine (apparently like Billboard itself) based on Mexico D.F (which is what probably was meant when the city was mentioned in that issue). (Source: [2]). Only for 1969, the charts for "Mexico" were indeed provided by a single radio station. Also, the "Hits of the World" section of the Billboard magazine from where these charts were taken would specify if they represented the whole country or a city in particular, as many "Buenos Aires" and "Rio de Janeiro" charts were sometimes featured, even alongside the charts for their respective countries ([3]). --CHUI372 (talk) 04:25, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As per WP:CHARTS, you must provide a source that shows the methodology of the charts (how the charts are ranked by the magazine) and that they do not collect music charts from a single radio stations. Much like how MonitorLatino explains how they collect data for their charts on their website. You must have also have multiple sources that shows Audiomusica covering sales or broadcast outlets (Billboard itself is not enough). I actually brought up this chart in a discussion a few years ago. • Speedy Keep. Nominator has not raised a valid argument for deletion. WP:CHARTS and WP:SINGLENETWORK are content guidelines about the use of charts inside wikipedia articles. They are not Notability guidelines for the existence of articles about the charts themselves. duffbeerforme (talk) 10:50, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
