Exactly the same reasons as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of living former United States governors, as far as LISTN and NOTSTATS/INDISCRIMINATE are concerned. Except both of these are actually even more obviously indiscriminate given the number of entrants... RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 22:21, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
- Of course, if anybody is asking, this includes every subpage of the House representatives. Added the template so I don't need to add the AfD template to each page, and since it would need to go anyway. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 22:22, 15 September 2021 (UTC)

- Delete Pages such as List_of_United_States_representatives_from_New_York#Living_former_members, List_of_United_States_representatives_from_Oregon#Living_former_members, and List_of_United_States_senators_from_Kansas#Living_former_senators already provide this, which is more useful than split by letter. This is how legislative bodies work, hundreds of people serve at once, and membership turns over every few years, and it's a sort of an excessive statistical directory to cross-categorize those who previously served, no longer do, and are still alive in their own lists. The listings by state are more beneficial than split alphabetically. Reywas92Talk 02:49, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
- Keep. I find it useful and actually consult it pretty often. Why get rid of it? It serves a purpose and the people who monitor it keep it updated regularly. --Coemgenus (talk) 13:59, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
- WP:ITSUSEFUL is not helpful: a detailed map of every street in a city, kept updated regularly with closures and roadworks, is also useful; but that does not make it encyclopedic. Unless there are sources which show this to be a notable topic and not just statistical trivia, then your argument remains utterly unconvincing. - Delete. The relevant information is already listed on the individual articles for each state.4.71.249.251 (talk) 16:08, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Didn't the list of living former presidents get deleted in the past few days? Clarityfiend (talk) 05:46, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- Delete The intersection of "has held public office X" and "is still alive" is to my eye self-evidently a WP:Non-encyclopedic cross-categorization, and as such WP:DELREASON#14 (
Any other content not suitable for an encyclopedia
) applies. Of all possible parameters to list this group of people by, being alive is certainly one of them – but so is being born on a Wednesday. TompaDompa (talk) 13:05, 17 September 2021 (UTC) - Delete. Non-encyclopedic, WP:NOTDIRECTORY, WP:NOTSTATS, and quite likely WP:OR. pburka (talk) 23:21, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
- Comment. There are also similar lists List of former United States senators and List of former members of the United States House of Representatives that include both living and deceased members.2601:241:300:B610:24A3:8B8B:B171:7B97 (talk) 02:09, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
- Delete all for the same reasons as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of living former United States governors and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of living former members of the United States Cabinet. Ajf773 (talk) 10:32, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
