This article should really be deleted. Not cited, entierly speculative. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.59.63.60 (talk) 22:06, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete as unsourced list of "possible Melungeons" (I like that Abe Lincoln and Elvis Presley are on the list, with no reference whatsoever). I've never met an impossible Melungeon, but I hear that they complain all the time and there's just no pleasing them. Mandsford (talk) 15:04, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete However, I'd recommend prosifying and posting to Talk:Melungeon and giving them the opportunity to source and merge as prose (not a list) into that article. Source for Lisa Alther is right in her article. Source for Lincoln is in his mother's Nancy Todd. WP:BEFORE notes such things as "If the page can be improved, this should be solved through regular editing" and "Consider turning the page into a useful redirect or proposing it be merged" and "When nominating due to sourcing or notability concerns, try to confirm that such sources don't exist." This shouldn't've had to come to AfD. Шизомби (talk) 16:19, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
