Less (band) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log · Stats)

This band was nominated around 12 years ago, and was withdrawn after some sources were provided, although those did not really go beyond verifying that the band existed (which was just about enough back then; it was a different time). As it stands this band does not appear to meet any criteria under WP:MUSIC. All the sources are reviews of one of their albums by various insignificant websites, and some of the links are dead. Album reviews don't really qualify as "non-trivial" (some websites will review literally an album sent to them), so arguing that they meet criterion #1 (the only one they can make any claim of at all) doesn't really hold water. Allmusic lists them but has zero reviews or even user ratings for them [1]. I couldn't find any indication that their record label is anything more than just a label, not a real company in any meaningful way. Nothing here but just another band, and an orphaned vanity article. R. fiend (talk) 18:11, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - I agree. As stated above, the band seems to just not be notable given our guidelines. Other than confirming that the group exists, Allmusic gives us nothing. None of the cited sources providing album reviews appear appropriate; they are, frankly, just random websites covering music. Deletion seems to be the right call. • Delete. I added the sources back in 2008, but we have a better of idea of suitable sources these days and these are not the type of sources that I would consider using now. I didn't find anything better from a search. --Michig (talk) 08:04, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
