Appears to be a hoax. I can't find any evidence that he existed, and in the period in question, the name Leo would be completely out of place, while one would expect the name to include the preposition ('de' Guzmán). I think someone has just made this up. A search for "Leo Guzmán" or "Leo de Guzmán" together with either Taino or Ciboney, only turns up mirrors of the Wikipedia article.
