The Japanese political system does not provide for the position of 'Leader of the Opposition'. There are numerous opposition parties in Japan, and there is no official discrimination between them. The article claims that the Japanese name of this supposed post is '野党の指導者', but this doesn't make much sense in Japanese, and I can find no evidence of its use anywhere. Japan does not have a Westminster form of government, and there is no 'convention' that produces a Leader of Opposition in Japan. Basically, this article is original research, and should be deleted. • Delete Yes, it looks made up. If you search for 野党の指導者 (which is just a generic expression for "leader of a non-government party") the first page of hits are all about countries other than Japan (Russia, mostly). Plainly, therefore, this is not a commonly used term in Japanese, and the fact that there is not WP:ja page supports this being original research.
