The result was delete. The lack of independant third party sources is fatal here Spartaz Humbug! 19:41, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Non-notable student society. Article comes across as self promotion by members WP:PROMOTION. Féasógach (talk) 12:01, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep for now pending determination of claims to notability. It certainly is promotional but that is a matter for cleaning up and not grounds for deletion. The question is whether the claims in the lead can be stood up. If this is just your average, run of the mill, common or garden student society then it is nn. However, if the claims are valid then it is notable. What is needed is some in-depth research and, meanwhile, a liberal use of fact tags. TerriersFan (talk) 22:37, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete Completely Non-notable Student Society. Major difference from a Law society on which someone has inserted UCD Law Society.Blarb (talk) 12:46, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep I think this is an exception to the general rule about student societies. (I say this reluctant;ly--I've almost always !voted delete for them). It has a major role in an important university. DGG ( talk ) 02:56, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. It is a student debating society. Almost all of the references are internal to the University. They are not a publisher of major works, their debates are not televised. Anything important about them can be, and has been, said briefly in the University College Dublin article. The rest of the article is puffery and vanity. --Bejnar (talk) 17:14, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
