  • Keep per WP:POLITICIAN. Former Speaker of a state House of Representatives. Next time, consider following WP:BEFORE. A simple Google search shows ample substantial RS coverage for this person, enough to satisfy WP:GNG. • Gene93k (talk) 00:39, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy Keep Former Speaker of a state House of Representatives. Meets WP:POLITICIAN. No ambiguity that this subject is and meets the notability criteria. 50.181.214.118 (talk) 01:53, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • If a person has been elected to and served in a state/provincial/territorial/federal legislature, then per WP:POLITICIAN they're always a valid article topic — and thus even a single "namecheck" source which properly confirms that fact is sufficient to start an article with. Tag for {{refimprove}}, by all means, but keep as a duly elected holder of a notable political office. Bearcat (talk) 03:24, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per others. --AmaryllisGardener talk 13:58, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and WP:SNOW close. Meets WP:NPOL on spec, and even if it's not currently in the article there's more than enough coverage out there to meet WP:GNG. --ElHef (Meep?) 15:17, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
