The article is already tagged querying its notability. Irish Democratic Party, the microparty he was chairman of, it barely notable, but we can leave for a separate discussion. Having been elected only at council level, and not having received significant more than incidental press coverage, I don't think he satisfies WP:POLITICIAN.
