The page was deleted multiple times; see discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/K. Surendran (politician). Creation now requires administrator access and to evade this someone has created the article by slightly altering the name. Malayala Sahityam (talk) 14:07, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: The second deletion discussion is more relevant than the first, as is the more recent discussion on the declined draft. However, the article in question here, about a political official, has now been replaced by a redirect to the page about the novelist K. Surendran, so should this AfD be closed? Comment - No comments on this discussion. However if this ends in a delete, please re-examine Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TG Mohandas as Surendran is the leader of the party in the state, while T. G. It is confusing because this AfD has been opened after the latest attempted article about the political official had been replaced by a redirect to the article on the writer; I don't think anyone is suggesting that the article on the writer should be deleted. Comment - I have removed the redirect to the writer's page as it was creating confusion. I accidentally redirected the page to the article on the writer before proposing for deletion. Delete: An article on a political party official. The rejected draft is more detailed about the subject's unsuccessful electoral candidacies and about some trivial coverage but I see no reason to overturn the deletion consensus from the AfD a year ago. AllyD (talk) 09:48, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
